By joining Recreate, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Personal Training Terms & Conditions
(Applicable to One-to-One and Group Training Sessions)
1. Definitions
“PT” refers to the Personal Trainer and/or Recreate Team.
“Client” refers to any individual participating in one-to-one or group Personal Training sessions.
“Sessions” refers to all personal training services provided, including one-to-one, small group, group classes, programmes, and related coaching services.
2. Health & Medical Declaration
2.1 The Client confirms they are medically fit to participate in physical exercise and have disclosed all relevant medical conditions, injuries, medications, or health concerns prior to commencing Sessions.
2.2 The Client agrees to complete a Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q) or equivalent health screening form before participating.
2.3 The Client must immediately inform the PT of:
2.4 The PT reserves the right to refuse or suspend participation if there are reasonable concerns regarding the Client’s health or safety.
3. Assumption of Risk
3.1 The Client acknowledges that participation in one-to-one and group exercise activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

3.3 The Client voluntarily assumes all risks associated with participation and agrees that they participate at their own risk.
4. Limitation of Liability
4.1 Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under UK law.
4.2 Subject to clause 4.1, the PT shall not be liable for:
4.3 To the fullest extent permitted by law, the PT’s total liability arising out of or in connection with any claim shall not exceed the total fees paid by the Client for the specific Session(s) giving rise to the claim.
5. Insurance
5.1 The PT confirms that appropriate and valid insurance policies are maintained, including:

6. Bookings, Attendance & Cancellations
6.1 All Sessions must be booked in advance and are subject to availability.
6.2 For one-to-one Sessions, a minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule. Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in the Session being charged in full.
6.3 For group Sessions:
6.4 If the PT cancels a Session, it will be rescheduled or credited at no additional cost.
7. Refund Policy
7.1 Refunds are not provided for unused Sessions except at management discretion or where required by law.
7.2 If a Client wishes to make a claim for a refund for any reason — including non-attendance, whether due to the Client’s fault or the PT’s fault — the claim must:
7.3 Refund claims submitted more than 14 days after the incident will not be considered and will not be backdated under any circumstances.
7.4 Approved refunds (if any) will be processed within 14 working days.
8. Payment Terms
8.1 All Sessions must be paid for in advance unless otherwise agreed in writing.
8.2 Block bookings and packages may have expiry dates, which will be confirmed at purchase. Unused Sessions beyond the expiry date may be forfeited.
8.3 Payments are non-transferable unless agreed in writing.
9. Code of Conduct
9.1 The Client agrees to:
9.2 In group Sessions, disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behaviour may result in removal from the Session without refund.
9.3 The PT reserves the right to terminate services where behaviour compromises safety or wellbeing.
10. Data Protection
10.1 Personal data will be processed in accordance with UK data protection legislation.
10.2 Information will only be used for delivering services, managing bookings, and related administration.
11. Amendments
The PT reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions. Updated versions will be made available to Clients and will apply to future bookings.
12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Personal Training Terms & Conditions
1. Definitions
“PT” refers to the Personal Trainer and/or Recreate Team.
“Client” refers to the individual receiving Personal Training services.
“Sessions” refers to one-to-one or group Personal Training sessions delivered by the PT.
2. Health & Medical Declaration
2.1 The Client confirms they are physically fit and have no medical condition that would prevent safe participation in exercise, or they have disclosed all relevant medical information prior to commencing training.
2.2 The Client agrees to complete a Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q) or equivalent health screening form before starting sessions.
2.3 The Client must inform the PT immediately of any injury, illness, pain, discomfort, or change in health status.
3. Assumption of Risk
3.1 The Client acknowledges that participation in physical exercise carries inherent risks, including but not limited to muscle strain, sprains, abnormal blood pressure responses, dizziness, heart disorders, or in rare cases serious injury.
3.2 By participating in training sessions, the Client voluntarily accepts and assumes all risks associated with exercise activities.
3.3 The PT will take reasonable care to provide safe instruction, supervision, and appropriate exercise programming; however, the Client understands that results cannot be guaranteed and participation is at their own risk.
4. Limitation of Liability
4.1 Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
4.2 Subject to clause 4.1, the PT shall not be liable for:
4.3 The PT’s total liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with the provision of services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Client for the sessions giving rise to the claim.

9.1 The Client agrees to behave respectfully and follow all safety instructions given by the PT.
9.2 The PT reserves the right to terminate sessions without refund if the Client engages in unsafe, inappropriate, or abusive behaviour.
10. Data Protection
10.1 Personal information provided by the Client will be processed in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation.
10.2 Information will only be used for the purposes of delivering training services and managing bookings and payments.
11. Amendments
The PT reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be made available to Clients.
12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
